Creative Macaron! from Diary of a Ladybird (see link below)

That is it! I am inspired! My husband loves Macarons and he found this website in his trawling

I am going to give them a whirl in a couple of weeks. I will probably do a chocolate buttercream "patty" though instead of using a chocolate biscuit. I think it would achieve the same look, but probably taste a heap nicer - also having a nicer texture to combine with the macarons.
Or I might do a Cayenne Chocolate Ganache filling. I can pipe out "patties" onto baking paper and put it in the fridge to set in order to achieve similar 'patty' look.
